Edit Address – Applicant/Application/Student

These screens allow you to add or edit addresses for the applicant or student. You can add the following address details, such as:

• AVETMISS Address
• Local Address
• Mailing Address

IMPORTANT - If the Applicant or student is flagged as AVETMISS, then the Street name, Street number and Suburb are mandatory fields to select under the AVETMISS Address. 

Note  - Once the Applicant is converted to a student, then you won't be able to make any changes to Addresses from the edit applicant address screen. However, you can make changes from the Student dashboard > Edit Address screen.

Also, If the Local Address and Mailing Address is the same as the AVETMISS Address then you can copy the AVETMISS address by selecting the Copy AVETMISS Address and Copy Address tick boxes.

Explanation of the fields

Building/Property Name	You can use this field to record the name of the building or property. This field helps provide additional location detail when a property has a specific name or when the address is part of a large complex.	Copy AVETMISS Address	You can tick this option if the current local address is as same as the AVETMISS address. It will update the address in all the fields automatically.	Copy Address	You can tick this option when the applicant’s/student’s mailing address is identical to their local address (or AVETMISS address). It automatically populates the same address in mailing address fields.
Flat/Unit Details	You can enter the flat, unit, or apartment information here.This ensures the address is accurate for multi-dwelling buildings and is essential for correct postal and AVETMISS reporting..	Address Line 1	This field auto-fills when you tick Copy AVETMISS Address. If the current local address differs from the AVETMISS address, you can add it manually in this field.	Address Line 1	This field auto-fills when you tick Copy Address. If the mailing address differs from the Current Local address, you can add it manually in this field.
Street Number	You can enter the street number of the address. This is a core part of the address and is required for AVETMISS-flagged applicants or students.	Address Line 2	This field auto-fills when you tick Copy AVETMISS Address. If the address is different, you can simply enter the details manually. Street Name	You can enter the street number of the address. This is a core part of the address and is required for AVETMISS-flagged applicants or students.	Address Line 3	This is an optional field used only when the address requires more detail than what fits in the standard fields. AVETMISS Suburb	It is a user-code dropdown field. You can select a suburb in this field. If you do not find a suitable suburb, you can ask us, and we will add it.
