Program – Subjects

Program > Program Entry Burger Menu > Subjects

The Program Subjects screen allows you to link subjects to the program you have created in the system. You can also edit an existing subject by selecting the Edit icon in the Actions column.

To add a new subject to the program, click the +Add button. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to enter the initials of the subject code and then select the appropriate subject from the list.

Fields and their Explanation:

Select the Subject CodeIt is a magic search field, where you can write the initials of the subject code and then you can select the subject code from the suggestions below.
Subject NameIt is a read-only field, which will be auto-populated when you select the subject code
Seq. NoHere you have to write the sequence number of the subject. for eg, if x,y, and z are three subjects then you can write seq no as x as 1, y as 2, and z as 3.
Subject TypeSelect the radio buttons as Core or Elective.
CompulsoryCheck this tick-box to mark a subject as compulsory.
No of Days for StudyIt Specifies the number of study days allocated for the subject. This is used for academic planning, attendance expectations, and progress calculations.
No of Weeks for StudyIt Specifies the duration of the subject in weeks. TEAMS uses this to calculate study load, academic calendars, and course progress timelines.
Delivery GroupIdentifies the teaching or delivery group responsible for delivering the subject. This may relate to cohorts, delivery modes, trainer groups, or timetable allocations.
Work PlacementIt Indicates whether the subject includes a required work placement component. This is often used for programs with vocational placement requirements.
Default AmountIf your RTO uses subject invoicing, then you can add the amount to study the subject in this field.
