Compliance > AVETMISS Dashboard > AVETMISS Student > Missing Gender and Family Name
The Missing Gender and Family Name alert appears when a student record does not have a Gender selected and/or a Family Name entered. These fields are mandatory for AVETMISS reporting and essential for accurate student identification.
To resolve this
Select the student’s Student Number from the list to open their record.
For Gender: Select the appropriate value from the dropdown and click Save.
For Family Name: Enter the missing surname and click Save.
After saving, return to the list—if the fields are now filled, the student will no longer appear on this screen.
