From there, you can select the burger menu and choose the Negative Invoice icon, which will open the Enrolment Dashboard > Invoice screen.

A negative invoice, also referred to as a credit note, is a vital tool for adjusting or canceling previously issued invoices. It is used to apply a negative value to a student’s account, ensuring accurate financial records.

Within the Enrolment Dashboard, you can easily access a student’s financial details under the Financial tile, which displays all invoices. This feature enables you to manage both current and future invoices efficiently.

To mark an invoice as negative, simply select the negative invoice icon. This function applies to both current and future invoices, streamlining the invoicing process and ensuring financial clarity.

Once you click the icon, the Negative Invoice screen will appear. Here, you can enter the necessary details, including the amount to be adjusted or canceled. After filling in the required information, click Save. The negative invoice will then be displayed in the grid, showing the debit, credit, and balance amounts.

If a negative invoice is no longer needed or was created in error, it can be deleted from the Financials tab. A confirmation pop-up will appear, and once approved, the invoice will be successfully deleted, maintaining the accuracy of your invoicing system.
