TEAMS now makes it easier to keep track of student change requests through the Notification Bell feature available in the navigation menu.
Whenever a student submits a request to update their personal information through the student portal, the request will appear as a notification in TEAMS, helping users quickly identify pending actions.
How the Notification Bell Works
Step 1: Watch for New Notifications
When a student submits a change request, a notification count will appear on the bell icon in the TEAMS navigation menu.
This count indicates the number of pending student change requests awaiting review.
Step 2: Open the Notification List
Click on the bell icon to open the notification panel.
Here, users can view a list of all recent student change requests submitted through the student portal.
Step 3: Review an Individual Request
Select any notification from the list.
TEAMS will automatically redirect you to the Student Change Request screen, where you can review the requested changes submitted by the student.
Step 4: Approve or Decline the Request
After reviewing the request, users can choose to:
– Approve the request
– Decline the request
This allows administrators or authorized users to manage student information updates directly within TEAMS.
Step 5: View All Notifications
To access all notifications in one place, click on “See All Notifications”.
This option provides a complete list of student change requests for easier tracking and management.
Step 6: Mark Notifications as Read
If no action is required immediately, users can click on “Mark all as read”.
This clears the notification alerts without approving or declining the requests.
