Compliance > AVETMISS Program> Descriptive Code Missing
The Descriptive Code Missing alert identifies programs that do not have a descriptive code entered in the system. These descriptive codes are a required field for AVETMISS reporting and must align with the official codes listed on the training.gov.au website.
To resolve this issue
- Click on the alert count to access the list of programs with missing descriptive codes.
- Select a program by clicking its name or code — this will take you to the Program Entry screen
- On the Program Entry screen, enter the correct descriptive code based on the qualification or course information
Ensuring these codes are accurately populated is essential for compliance with national training standards and for avoiding validation errors in AVETMISS reporting.
